Squirrel Cottage is a cosy cottage in the centre
of a small terrace of three. Downstairs comprises of a comfortable sitting/dining room, a well equipped kitchen and a
small reading room which can double as a third bedroom if required. Upstairs the cottage has two good sized bedrooms and a
bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The cottage is south facing and therefore affords a sunny disposition
which adds that extra warm feel. The cottage is situated on a private driveway, tucked away near the end of a quiet country
lane and has off road parking for one car, although extra parking can be made available if required. The cottage is
perfectly situated for exploring the Suffolk heritage coast on foot, cycle or by car, with the beautiful seaside towns of
Aldeburgh and Southwold close by. The famous Snape Maltings is in easy walking distance.
Snape is an area of outstanding natural beauty, famous for it’s
forest walks, salt marshes and wide estuaries.
The cottage is heated by electric storage heaters but if you like
the look and feel of a real fire, the multi-fuel burner in the sitting room is just perfect and is very easy to light.
(A basket of logs is provided)
To help you explore the area without the car, two cycles can
be made available with notice.
A welcome basket is provided on arrival with fresh free-range
eggs from our very own hens (when they are laying!!) as well as some essentials to ensure you can make a hot drink and have
a snack on arrival. We regret no smoking and no pets. Changeover day is Saturday. Weekends and short breaks subject to availability.
